Planning an iftar in Nice: food and organisation.

A practical guide to gathering family and friends, estimating quantities and arranging service with the restaurant.

By Le Délice d’Amal · Updated

This page was first written for Ramadan 2026 and updated in September 2026. Previous set menus and times are not a current offer. For a future iftar, begin with the date and number of guests so the kitchen can study your request.

Begin with the time of the meal

Give the exact date, the intended time for breaking the fast and the address. For a group meal, identify the person receiving the food and any equipment available at the venue.

The time slot and service must be confirmed with the team. The restaurant’s usual opening hours are not a commitment to provide a meal before dawn.

Build the table around your guests

Harira, msemen, Moroccan pastries or sharing dishes can all be discussed. Tell us what you imagine for the meal so the kitchen can consider your guests, preferences and what is feasible.

A family table and a community iftar do not require the same packaging or service. Say whether you want large dishes to share or individual portions.

Plan service and transport

For collection, tell us how long the food will travel before being eaten and ask for storage or reheating advice. For delivery, provide the exact handover point and access constraints.

Your iftar catering enquiry can cover dishes, quantities, equipment, transport and price. The meal is confirmed only after agreement on these details.

Your questions

Is there a fixed-price Ramadan menu?

The menu and price must be confirmed for the requested date. Use the Ramadan page to prepare an enquiry with the kitchen.

Can we enquire about an iftar for a community group?

Yes. Tell us the number of guests, venue, time and preferred serving format. The team will assess what is feasible.
